The anniversary of the crime against the Stolić family in Obilić in Kosovo and Metohija
Today marks the end of the 21st year since the monstrous murder of the three-member Stolic family in Obilić near Pristina in Kosovo and Metohija.
The autopsy report showed that 80-year-old Slobodan and Radmila and their 50-year-old son Ljubinko died from stab wounds and blows with blunt objects immediately after eating their last meal. The perpetrators set fire to their house after the crime, they were never discovered and no one has yet been held accountable for this crime.
Apart from the monstrosity and yet another unpunished wrongdoing, I will also remember this crime for the insolence of Nataša Kandić, who came to the scene of the crime and tried to approach the family of the murdered and the gathered Serbs while I was interviewing them as part of the medical team. Just the night before the crime, Kandić stated that "from Pristina to Kosovo Polje you can freely take a taxi."
She was saved from lynching by the murdered politician Oliver Ivanovic, a journalist and myself because she is not worth the imprisonment of any Serb. She was chased away with the head of her office in Pristina, Bekim Bljakaj, apparently surprised that they wouldn't let her say which one.
